What Should We Do If We Get Thick Calluses On Our Feet?

The reason for calluses on the soles of our feet
Calluses on the soles of the feet are caused mainly by the proliferation of epithelial tissue on the feet, which is related to dry skin, excessive walking, and excessive friction.
Paying attention when exfoliating calluses
Usually, when the thin calluses have just grown, it is easier to solve the problem. You can soak your feet with warm water to make the cuticle absorb water and soften and turn white, and then gently rub it off with a light pumice stone

If the foot calluses are thick, we could use a professional foot file or a foot scraper to exfoliate them.
1. Soak your feet for about 15 minutes, let the dead skin soften first.
2. Use a suitable foot file or scraper to remove the foot calluses, and gently rub off the remaining skin on the surface with a pumice stone.
3. After that, do some foot massage and care, also apply a thick layer of moisturizing cream to the feet.
It is not necessary to exfoliate the feet too often, usually once or twice a week, otherwise it will stimulate dead skin.
In order to prevent calluses from growing, we could wear soft and comfortable shoes, and soak our feet every day as possible. Do some foot massage and apply a layer of moisturizing cream to the feet before bed, which can soften the foot calluses.
